Wesley Cohen is an Articling Student at Hansell LLP. He obtained his J.D. from the University of Ottawa in 2018, graduating cum laude. During his time in law school, Wesley served as a research assistant to Professor Michael Geist, and volunteered with the Ontario Justice Education Network where he led alternative dispute resolution workshops. He was on the Dean’s List throughout law school, and was awarded the William J Miller Prize in Competition Law. Before articling at Hansell, Wesley worked in the legal department of a financial regulatory crown corporation and for Ontario’s Attorney General.
Prior to law school, Wesley worked in politics advising Ontario’s government caucus and various provincial Ministers on policy, issues management, communication, and organizational challenges. Wesley obtained a B.A. (Honours) from Queen’s University.
