Maria Sokulsky-Dolnycky is a Communications & Research Coordinator at Hansell Advisory. She is a member of the Canadian Association of Law Libraries (CALL) and the Toronto Association of Law Libraries (TALL).

Prior to Hansell, Maria worked as a Prospect Research Officer at the Richard Ivey School of Business, where she helped conduct research and prepare in-depth reports for the Dean of the School; while working there, she was a member of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement, Canada (APRA Canada). Maria also worked as a Sunday Supervisor at the Markham Public Library, where she provided reference, information and borrower services, assisted with general library operations and procedures, and wrote daily reports. Additionally, Maria spent some time in Tokyo, Japan, where she taught English and Business English to a diverse range of students.

Maria graduated with her MI from the University of Toronto’s iSchool, where she served as a student executive for the University of Toronto chapters of the Special Libraries Association (SLA) and the Association of Moving Image Archivists (AMIA). During her time in graduate school, Maria worked as a Graduate Student Library Assistant at both the Metadata Services Department of Robarts Library and the Petro Jacyk Central & East European Resource Centre.

Maria is a lifetime member of the Beta Phi Mu International Honor Society for Library and Information Studies.
