John McKenna is a Senior Consultant at Hansell McLaughlin Advisory. John has extensive public policy and government experience. An experienced stakeholder manager and lobbyist, John is a trusted advisor to clients in various sectors, providing strategic political and policy advice across a wide-range of issues.
Prior to joining Hansell McLaughlin Advisory, John was a Senior Policy Advisor to Ontario’s Minister of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation, where he was responsible for developing and implementing policies in one of the most sensitive ministries within the government. During his time at Queen’s Park, he steered major cross-government initiatives that resulted in the largest investment in programs and actions focused on reconciliation with Indigenous people in Ontario’s history.
John has served in senior roles on numerous election campaigns at the provincial and federal level, earning a reputation as a detail-oriented strategist.
